Vision: We C.A.R.E Warriors Athletic Sports Program (WASP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth sports organization consisting of families, businesses, and communities who invest in, inspire, and impact the lives of student athletes so they can demonstrate their academic and athletic skills globally.

 

Mission: We C.A.R.E Warriors Athletic Sports Program (WASP) travels to compete in sports on various skill levels. We encourage student athletes to excel in academics, advance in the fundamental and advance skills of sports, compete on an elite level, and strive in life. We focus on developing, training, and mentoring school age and troubled youth (8th -12th grade) to be talented athletes, responsible young adults, and community leaders. We create the awareness of career opportunities in their lives, whether collegiate, uniform service, employment, or entrepreneurship.

Brief Timeline: The tenure of WASP started in Killeen, Texas on the 10th of February 2023, with a 5th and 8th grade team. We built our program with the goal of creating a winning atmosphere, by having a well-developed staff to train and mentor student athletes on all levels. This resulted in the Warriors playing on the elite and world level after one season. We had every team, 3 teams, to win at least one tournament in the 2025 season. Our 2026 season, we already surpassed one of our goals of having 8th - 12th grade teams and adding more qualified coaches. during March Prep Hoop Tournament, we had 7th Grader Greg McGett to be highlighted. We also had Willie Holsendolph (11th Grader) and Doug Turner (12th Grader) announced as Stand-out players during April GASO Spring Championship. The key to our success as a whole is due to our organization business model and the philosophy of doing C.A.R.E Together, plus using this aspiring phrase:
